Description:
Ignition recalculation serves the purpose of allowing to retroactively apply new ignition conditions for trip calculation. As such, it is an action that affects the trips listed in History module.
Required information:
Object | Object in which to apply recalculation. |
Ignition settings | Input, Condition and Value on which to base ignition |
Recalculation period | From which point up until now trips must be recalculated based on the new settings. |
Steps:
1- Login to LCM.
2- Go to Objects and search for the object.
3- Go to View/Edit.
4- Go to the Ignition detection section and select the desired ignition detection Input, Condition and Value for Ignition to be counted as ON.
For binary Inputs like DIN, Custom ignition, or Movement sensor use Condition > and value 0.
5- Click on Recalculate ignition.
6- Input the date in YYYY-MM-DD (year-month-day) format from which recalculation must occur. A period longer than 3 months is not recommended, as it will overload the system. Click on OK.
Result:
Recalculation might take some time to perform, from 1 to 2 hours, especially if it is a long period.
Note that the new Ignition settings will be automatically saved when you recalculate and will be used from then on.
