DMP – Device Management Platform.
General information about DMP can be found HERE.
This is a How-To article for adding DMP-compatible devices into DMP, which are already sold to clients.
Required information:
List of IMEIs (and a possibility to check their hw device types);
Client account exact name;
If device SIM cards are provided not by Ruptela, then SMS numbers of each device;
DMP account login with Operator user role and assigned to client “Ruptela UAB”.
Steps:
General steps:
1. Update a device FW.
2. Add a new device to DMP.
3. Send SAS tokens to devices.
4. Check or create Client account in DMP.
5. Assign devices to Client account in DMP.
6. Send credentials to Client.
1. Update a device FW
1.1. Check if a device is officially supported by DMP HERE. In case a device is not supported by DMP, then inform the requester accordingly.
1.2. Update a device FW to the latest officially supported FW. DMP is supported from FW versions 00.06.18.32 (including this version). It is important to update devices to the latest officially released firmware (from this page).
1.3. econnect those devices to our TrustTrack and update FW.
1.4. In some cases, Clients might be willing to update FW themselves. We allow that.
2. Add a new device to DMP
2.1. Login to DMP https://dmp.ruptela.com/
2.2. Open web browser dev tools (by pressing F12) and click on the Network tab:
2.3. Click the top Add device button:
2.4. Enter IMEI, Device name, and click the Add button in the Add new device pop-up:
2.5. Click on register request, select Preview tab and copy the SAS token:

3. Send SAS tokens to the devices
3.1. Prepare an SMS command.
Command format: pass setsastoken <uuid>
Example without password:
setsastoken e731388f-2817-4805-a979-3da6152e6f30&sig=Hu%2BlwvgJeD5RO0NJuOIHZ28TeuBEIPCV50ftSRefiwY%3D&se=3778057488
3.2. Send SAS tokens to devices via SMS.
After the SMS command is successfully received, you should get a reply “OK”.
For that purpose you can use our TT admin SMS sending tool:
3.3. Get devices connected to DMP
Send the SMS command: pass dmpfconnect
NOTE: from FW 00.06.19.55 onwards, a device immediately initiates dmpfconnect after getting a SAS token
3.4. Check if a device received the “Last time connected“ update.
4. Check or create Client account in DMP
4.1. Check if client exists in DMP.
Go to the Clients page, enter client name into Search By Name field:
4.2. If Client does not exist in DMP but he has an SP-admin account, please follow these instructions on how to create a new DMP account:

4.3. If Client does not have an SP-admin Account in TT2 admin, then follow a regular procedure to create Admin/Admin lite account via ERP, then create a new TT2 admin user for that client and login with that user to DMP.
5. Assign devices to Client account in DMP
5.1. Go to the Devices page, select the needed device/devices, and click the top Assign button:
5.2. Select the needed Client from the Assign client dropdown and click the Assign button:
6. Send credentials to Client
6.1. Send email to Client providing DMP login URL:
Dear Client,
A list of your requested devices has been added to DMP.
Login to DMP using this link https://dmp.ruptela.com/login
Your username: [email protected]
Your password will be sent via a separate email.

6.2. Send a password using a separate email.
If a user is already having his credentials for the TT2 admin account, then send an email like below:
Dear Client,
A list of your requested devices has been added to DMP.
Login to DMP using this link https://dmp.ruptela.com/login
For user name and password please use the same credentials as for https://sp-admin.ruptela.com/
