Relationship between payment plans and map availability

While Open Street Maps (OSM) is available to all objects, Google Maps feature requires that all objects of a particular client be set to payment plan Basic Plus or higher. More information:

All map related options and settings in LCM, whether in Service Provider, Client, Web user, or Object settings are no longer relevant and you can either ignore them or set them randomly. They will have no effect on how maps are displayed in TrustTrack2. Map availability depends exclusively on object's payment plan and your personal account settings.

Map display customization

At the moment no custom map layers can be added to TT2.

Map settings can be modified in Map settings in Account settings. More information:

Open Street Maps (OSM)

Open Streets Map (OSM) displays location names in the official territory language (for example, in Arab in Saudi Arabia, French in France, etc). This CANNOT be changed.

However, even if OSM is used, in reports, location names will be gathered from Google geolocation service, which will translate them according to the web user set account language.

HERE maps

Here maps is a proprietary map used with the Routing and Tasking HCV solution to calculate routes for heavy vehicles.

It is not included in any payment plan and has to be enabled for each object individually by Support side upon a request by a sales manager:
