Description:
This article will contain information on Trust Track web application rebranding.
Introduction
Ruptela provides TrustTrack as a service in a subscription-based manner. Therefore, to use it the end-users have to pay a monthly fee.
When selling this service to Service Providers, they are not usually the end-user, most commonly they act as Trust Track resellers, this is why we provide Trust Track as a white-label product in such cases.
A White-label product is a product that a company can brand as its own, but in our case, is a software that can be customized (rebranded) and look-alike as it was developed/owned by the company which is reselling this product.
Workflow
We need to know from the Service Provider what option of rebranding he will be choosing:
Customizable Item | Rebranding Option 1 | Rebranding Option 2 |
Use *.fm-track.com subdomain | YES | NO |
Use Client's own domain | NO | YES |
TT2 main logo (login/reports) | YES | YES |
TT2 internal logo (top left) | YES | YES |
TT2 mobile logo | YES | YES |
Custom notification email address | YES** | YES |
Custom Sender Name in SMS* | YES | YES |
* This will only work in countries where "Alphanumeric Sender ID" is available - Info
** Only if the SP has edit access to the domain DNS records
If Rebranding Option 1 is chosen, here are the steps to follow:
Get from the service provider the following information:
The subdomain name that they would like to use. For example, if the SP name is "abcde" and they would like to use their name as the subdomain, the subdomain would be:
abcde.fm-track.com
Logos in SVG format
Optimal size (in pixels) for each logo:
TT2 main logo: 240 x 60
TT2 internal logo: 20 x 20
TT2 mobile logo: 80 x 60
Web Page title (information that will be shown in the browsers tab) - More info
Web Page description (information will NOT be shown and only populate HTML meta content tag) - More Info
Email to be displayed as the sender on notifications generated by TT2 (this will only work if the client has edit access to the DNS record of the email's domain)
SMS sender name (11 character MAX)
If he would like to leave or remove the "Powered by Ruptela" logo
Press CTRL + F, type the SP name and click on Edit
Scroll down to Trust Track 2 parameters
Type the Web Page title on the Title textbox
Type the Web Page description in the Description textbox
Click on the Upload button next to Main and choose the TT2 main logo SVG file, then click on Open (file will be uploaded)
Click on the Upload button next to Mini and choose the TT2 internal logo SVG file, then click on Open (file will be uploaded)
Click on the Upload button next to Mobile and choose the TT2 mobile logo SVG file, then click on Open (file will be uploaded)
Now over Domain Names, type in Trust Track 2 input text the subdomain chosen by the client, using the same example, the text that should be inputted is:
abcde.fm-track.com
Still over Domain Names, type in Reports input text the same subdomain with "reports-" appended to the beggining, using the example, the text that should be inputted is:
reports-abcde.fm-track.com
Still over Domain Names, type in Trust Track 1 input text, the same subdomain with "1" appended to the end of the subdomain name, using the example, the text that should be inputted is:
abcde1.fm-track.com
Now over Emails, type in Notifications input text, the email provided by the client.
Note: this should only be replaced if the client has edit access to the DNS records of the email's domain, if he does not have this access, notification emails probably will not be delivered because they would be treated as spamNow over SMS, type in Sender Name input text, the email provided by the client.
Note: There are some countries where the Sender Name does not work and it automatically gets replaced. More infoIf client requested, Untick the option "Disable 'Powered by Ruptela'"

Picture illustrating each step:
99 - User authentication only via token: ONLY ENABLE THIS OPTION IF YOU A SURE OF WHAT YOU ARE DOING
This is a special feature for service providers who do not want to use our authentication system (login and password) and have their own authentication systems.
This will be applied to all SP clients and web users. It means, that all SP clients will access Trust Track 2 system only via your system, they will not be able to login via Trust Track anymore. All SP web users password management will be disabled from Trust Track 2, and they will only be handled by SP own system.
To summarize, ALL web users under this SP will NOT be able to login to Trust Track 2 system directly with login and password.
Instead, the SP system will need to generate an access token via our API using their own API key and the user login. Then, using this token on a specific URL, access to Trust Track will be granted.

Few examples of what can be customized with pictures:
TrustTrack 2 URL
Default: track2.ruptela.com (TT2 main domain)
Can be used through: whatever.fm-track.com (Customizable subdomain, owned by Ruptela)
Can be used through: www.clientdomain.com(Customizable domain owned by the Client)
TrustTrack 2 main logo (seen in login/reports)
TrustTrack 2 square dots logo (seen in top left corner)
TrustTrack 2 logo in mobile version
Sender email address in email notifications
Sender name in SMS notifications - Info
Note 1: Logos must be properly cropped (logo should touch the edges of the screen, see image) and over a transparent background.
Note 2: Use an online converter like https://www.aconvert.com/image/tiff-to-svg/ to convert and resize existing files if the client is unable to provide a proper file. However, it is much better if you create the vector file from scratch instead of converting it from an existing image).
