Rarely but there is a cases when we are installing Teltonica devices (mostly by BY branch). Here will be provided basic configuration instructions, on how to set the device to send needed data. The instruction is only for tracking only configuration.

All Flespi teltonika devices should be configured to send data to the Flespi server:
IP: 4238.flespi.gw
Port: 25786
Protocol: TCP

1. First of all download the Teltonka configurator here:
https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/Teltonika_Configurator_versions

Launch the configurator and select create a new configuration, filter out your device at the search bar, and select it.
2. Here is a list of Teltonika SMS commands https://wiki.teltonika-gps.com/view/FMB_SMS/GPRS_Commands The main SMS to configure the device is setparam.

3. Most important parameters which have to be configured are at GPRS.

For example to configure APN; Domain; Port and Protocol, the SMS command has to be sent:
(space)(space)setparam 2001:apnname;2004:92.62.134.34;2005:9015;2006:0

To get parameter ID point the mouse on the parameter and it will pop up:

The (space)(space) meaning is that Teltonika devices have SMS log-in and password, so there are two keywords. Devices with default configurations do not have any data about that so before writing the command we have to leave two spaces.

4. For proper device data sending Data Acquisition has to be configured, how often does the data have to be sent while moving and on stop (at screenshot visible values are recommended by configurator itself)

5. One of the common parameters is a virtual odometer to configure it the SMS command will look like:
(space)(space)setparam 11807:needed value in KM

6. Also, more parameters can be turned on based on what is needed and/or based on the connection at the I/O section

7. To get parameter value send SMS command getparam and parameter io number.

For example (space)(space)getparam 2001;2004;2005;2006.
