Description:

Some tacho files (.tgd) may be uploaded to TT2 correctly but once downloaded and opened, display an error warning and lack the list of activities.

Example in readesm reader:

Error warning:

File abruptly ends when activities ought to begin:

Common causes:

  • The main cause why .DDD file is incomplete is because the company card that was used to authorise the download, is not the same with which the tachograph is locked. When this situation happens, a file is produced but the activities part will not be shown. So the client need put his company card to tacho directly and lock it or use the correct card.

Required information:

Downloaded Tacho file

Recommended tools:

Read tacho and driver files (.esm, .tgd, .ddd)

Analyse tacho files. Graphical representation of driver states.

Read tacho and driver files (.esm, .tgd, .ddd)

Analyse tacho files.

Full version is available through TeamViewer: How to connect to Ruptela's Tacho File Viewer Remote PC

Steps:

1- Download the Tacho file and open it using Tachograph File Viewer.

2- Go to Vehicle Unit > Overview > Company Locks Data and check the last company card lock for the tachograph:

3- Go to Vehicle Unit > Overview > Download Activity Data and check the download company card:

As we can see in the images, the company card the tachograph is locked with is different from the company card that authorised the download, so the file is left without activities.

Client should be advised to same company card for tachograph lock and tachograph download.
