Switch field is needed to merge the accumulated history of old device with new device.
Steps how to do switch field:
1. In LCM via serial number search for both objects (old with history) and new (which is installed) and open them in object settings.
2. Rename the old object, for example next to plate number write “old” in this way You will not confuse between old and new devices. Press save
3. Copy ID number from old object and paste it to new object “Object ID” field and press “Switch fields” button. Press save
Pay attention, that only phone nr, serial nr and IMEI will change between old and new device.

4. After switch fields done, in LCM by serial nr search again for old and new objects, and open them separately in new tabs.
Pay attention, that now new object will be named with additional word “old”
Choose the right hardware for new device from the list
In new object delete additional word “old” and leave just registration number, copy all necessary information about object such as installation date, installer name, method of connection, and press save button.
5. Send “connect” command to new device password connect 92.62.134.34,9015,TCP to make sure that device is answering and send at least one coordinate.
6. Check in web user if new object is visible in clients account and is the accumulated history is visible to this day.
7. If everything is done correctly, You can delete old object from the system.
