How to get server logs

Description:

Server logs are all the interactions between the device and Ruptela servers. This help investigate issues with communications and is specially useful for tachograph cases, as error errors are registered in the log. In this last case, please see: Tachograph troubleshooting - Server log interpretation

Required information:

IMEI

The IMEI of the device you want to investigate

Time period

The time period you require information from

2 - Enter your general credentials (username without @ruptela.com and your AD password) while on VPN

3 - In the "Select streams" type device-communication-service

4 - Copy this command, change the IMEI, paste in the search box, and hit ENTER

5 - Select the timeframe of your search, then click in the search box and hit ENTER:

6 - Click on the three dots (...) on the left side of the screen and then click on Export to CSV

7 - A popup box will open and then click "Start Download", wait a few minutes and your file will be downloaded
