Description:

If Client wants that an object (which has a Fuel sensor installed) would display in the TT History module the fuel consumption per 1 hour and per 100 km:

please provide him/her with an explanation like below:

Answer:

Current History module settings are:

1. Fuel consumption parameter is calculated and shown based on CANbus data OR

2. if the fuel consumption parameter is not coming, customer can select a known average fuel consumption value in the object settings:

Go to object settings>Calculated Inputs and make sure Fuel Consumption is unticked and Save:

  • Go to object settings>Average fuel consumption and input consumption value and Save:

OR

  • Go to TT2, find the object>Summary>Vehicle details and input Fuel tank capacity and Consumption details and Save:

Then, fuel consumption is calculated based on that value and traveled distance.

For example, if you input your car Consumption at 10l/100km, and the car runs for 200 km on a day, Consumption will be calculated at 20 liters in the Reports.

The fuel consumption value could be shown in the format: l/100km OR km/l.

In this case, we do not have data from the CANbus, only data from the fuel level sensor.
So, here we can suggest only, for example, using a fuel tank report and making calculations manually (hour counter enabled).
In a fuel tank report, the fuel consumption is calculated based on the fuel level (parameter will be visible only in the report).

If there is a requirement to adjust the TT History module or Reports, then we can only suggest for the Client to register a New Feature Request. For it is needed as detailed information as possible on the requirements. After NFR registration, the next step is business case evaluation, finding out possibilities and costs.
