Activation / deactivation of SIM cards (general)

Common Steps:

  • You need to clarify with the client if the deactivation is temporary (suspension) or permanent (termination).

  • IMPORTANT! All SIM card activation/deactivation requests must be approved by responsible sales manager.

  • IMPORTANT! Before you permanently terminate SIM card, confirm with sales manager if device must be unlocked. If required refer to Device lock/unlock procedure.

  • If you are activating temporary suspended SIM card for End-users, send delrecords SMS right after activation. This action will delete internally stored records so that they are not sent to the server.

  • Inform sales manager and Karolina Butkute (Accounting) to start/stop charging client after SIM card was activated/deactivated.
