Description:

Sometimes you may see this error in the TT2 for the object that has Sent-Geo functionality activated:

From previous experience, DEVICE_UNKNOWN error is usually caused by situations that client did not fill in the declaration properly.

What actions need to be taken:

  1. Make sure that the Sent-Geo functionality is correctly activated from our side.

    1. Check the "Sent-Geo ID" in TT2 and the "sent locator" number in the Jenkins job. More information: SentGeo Enable Disable with Solution Mngmnt

    2. Check if Sent-Geo data is exported in Graylog. How to check: How to check Sent-Geo export data

  2. Ask the client to check the Sent-Geo declaration, if it is filled in correctly. It can be verified with this PUESC form: https://puesc.gov.pl/web/guest/uslugi/przewoz-towarow-objety-monitorowaniem/sent-406?systemName=SENT&formName=1000741

  3. If everything was done successfully, the device should show success (when it is driving in Poland):

Note: if you still receive this error even if the Sent-Geo declaration was filled in correctly by the client, please create a JIRA consultation.
