At the moment, it is possible to create an api key for 3 main cases:

  • for a web user (with admin rights),

  • for a regular web user (without admin rights),

  • for the entire service provider (admin panel/Locator Control Manager).

    Web users with administrator rights

To create an api key for web users with administrator rights, you need to follow the link or log in to your TT2 account and do the following:

1) log in to your account (by clicking on the link via LCM in the web-users tab https://track.ruptela.lt/administrator/webusers or simply by going to https://track2.ruptela.com ) .

2) in the upper right corner of the page, click on the "Account Settings" tab

3) select the tab " API key settings"

4) by clicking on the "New API key" tab, we get the opportunity to successfully create / generate a new api key.

Web user without administrator rights

To be able to create api keys for a regular web user without administrator rights, you will need to follow exactly the same steps as described for the admin web user in paragraphs 1-4, only before that it is important to make sure that the ability to create api keys is provided by the web user administrator, as described in instructions below:

1) Permission to provide the ability to generate api keys is granted by a web user with administrator rights at the stage of creating a web user without administrator rights, therefore, first of all, it is important to find a web user in the "Webusers list" by clicking on the "Webusers" button (or when initially creating a web user, configure his rights as needed

2) for the created web user, it is important to make sure that the "API key access" function is activated (which provides full access to working with api keys).

Service provider (api key for admin panel/Locator Control Manager).

To create api keys you need

1) log in using the link https://tt2-admin.ruptela.com/sp-api-key (available only to technical support specialists).

2) select the service provider of interest in the "Select Service provider" tab (in fact, we select the service provider and the admin panel / Locator Control Manager assigned to it)

3) click on the "Create new API key" tab and get access to creating/generating api keys.
