Description:

If client is using his own SIM cards it means his device will be unlocked and without factory configuration/SMS password. This means that he can freely configure it and input custom configuration and SMS passwords to the device configuration.

In case client forgets the configuration password and can no longer modify it on the bench, and requests our assistance in recovering or removing these password, please do the following.

If, however, client is using Ruptela SIM cards passwords should not be removed unless special permission is given by Sales Manager.

Required information:

IMEI (this will allow you to check device HW type on ERP)

  1. The client has a copy of the configuration file present in the device: Scenario 1

  2. The client does not have a copy of the configuration file present in the device.
