In exceptional situations for lock\unlock APN, IP, Port in the tracker settings, sending SMS commands to the tracker or using similar commands saved in txt format can be used (when the tracker's imei is first entered and after it, separated by a space, the lock / unlock code itself is written ).
To lock/unlock a tracker, it is best to use LCM and in the "Device CFG Update" tab, after selecting the desired object, you can click on the "lock/unlock" button and generate the desired code by selecting the desired parameters (in our example, Lock is specified for APN, IP, Port , in this case, SMS will be sent through the Vodafone provider, but you can also choose any combination of "lock / unlock" and you can also send SMS through any available provider or even send sms-over-GPRS if the tracker sends data to us on TT).

For those cases, if the tracker sends data to the system to the client (or if you need to lock / unlock by physically connecting to the tracker, then you can generate a code from our LCM (as described earlier), after which the code can be used to unlock through the configurator.
In order for the button to unlock the tracker to appear, you need to connect to the tracker through the configurator by pressing the connection and then press the COM port selection button again.
Next, press the key combination
"ctrl+alt+L" which will show the "plock" button.
Using the previously described method of obtaining codes for lock / unlock, you need to create a document with the extension ".txt" (when the imei of the tracker is first entered and after it, separated by a space, the code for lock / unlock is written).
By pressing the "plock" -> "link list" key, you need to select the desired ".txt" document in which the code is saved, click open, and then click the "send command" button. After that the lock/unlock should be successful.

"factory reset"
In a similar way, not only "lock / unlock", but also a complete "factory reset" (resetting the tracker to factory settings) can be performed, but this possibility is exclusively internal information and such a reset can only be performed for certain clients and after all the necessary approvals only with the sales manager, but also with the head of support.
To perform a "factory reset" you also need a physical connection to the tracker via a laptop/PC, after which you need to enter " ctrl + shift + alt + R " to get “factory reset” option in tools menu.
The code itself for "lock / unlock" or for "factory reset" can also be obtained using a specific program that some programmers and colleagues from the 2nd line have (ask for the code and colleagues, having seen all the confirmations and approvals, will be able to provide you with the code ).
