  1. All devices can be found in menu “Devices”. There are 2 way to find objects:

  1. By uploads (which is not usable by us).

  2. By devices (which we will be using to find needed Tablet).

  1. In Devices window we see information about devices (Device ID (IMEI number), model, current profile that is assigned, Service ends date (License end date), Status (if profile configured or not), TAGs (sometimes we name specific tablets by TAGs, so we could easily find them) and Modified (last date when any actions was performed with device).

Search window allows us find tablets more quicker. Mainly we are searching by IMEI number or TAGs.

To update profile push on this selected action, new window will appear. There are 2 ways of updating profiles:

  1. a)Only changed items

  2. b)Full profile update

Most of the time we are using Only changed items update, because we constantly updating profiles and only changed items will be updated (and also it requires less mobile data to be used).

Full profile update is used when we want to fully updated device (for example after factory reset).

In both situation we are selecting „Push update without end-user consent“ which allows us to force update devices.

NOTICE! In this step you should make sure that device has internet (WiFi or Mobile data).

Press Push now to continue.

  1. 6. Modifications are sent to tablet. Update will start shortly and you will seeStatus “Update pushed”. Notice that if you had previous version of profile it should change to newest. When update will pass, you will haveStatus “Configured”.

Notice! There can be several situations:

  1. a) Device is without internet:

Status: Update pushed, profile name didn’t change.

Means there is no internet, even if profile pushed, it didn’t start to update.

  1. b) Device with internet:

Status: Updates pushed, Profile name changed to newest.

Means update is in progress.

  1. c) Device with internet, successfully updated:

Status: Configured. Profile name changed to newest.

Device was successfully updated.
